Sorry it's been a while since you posted your question, hope this isn't too late. As far as I know for medicine it's advisable to get your UCAS form in as early as possible. People applying for oxford and cambridge have to get theirs in early (I think around 4 October) and I'd definitely advise aiming for the same deadline for medicine. Not sure about the UKCAT though...Hope that helps
